Henry County Schools will host in-person and virtual informational sessions to introduce its new STEM high school, set to open in fall 2027.

Attendees will learn about student eligibility and the admissions process for Henry County STEM High School, which will offer rigorous courses across three specialized pathways: Biotechnology and Medical Science, Sustainability and Renewable Energy, and Aerospace.

Admission to Henry County STEM High School will be determined by a criteria-based application and lottery, with rising ninth and tenth-graders enrolling for the 2027-2028 school year and subsequent school years.

District personnel will share information about the state-of-the-art facility, designed to offer students a unique learning environment grounded in STEM excellence.

In-Person Informational Session

In-person meetings will take place from 6:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. in the board meeting room at the district's Administrative Office, located at 33 Zack Hinton Pkwy in McDonough, on Monday, March 16, 2026.

Interested students, families, and community members may join the virtual informational session from 6:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. on:
